Added value through suitable combinations from Ferag
Intralogistics specialist Ferag from Hinwil/Switzerland is showcasing its combination of the Skyfall pocket sorter solution and automated storage system. By connecting the warehouse directly to the pocket sorter, the overall system increases throughput and boosts efficiency.
Skyfall is already well known, but Ferag is proving to be an innovator and integrator here, optimizing existing concepts with new approaches. In response to the increased demands placed on modern distribution centers, the combination of familiar storage solutions and reliable overhead conveyors is also proving its worth for higher loads and product volumes. Ferag will also be demonstrating the modular Denisort Compact vertical sorter with a transport robot in the downstream area. The Perfectmatch will be at the center of Ferag's presentation. In several applications, the company wants to prove that suitable combinations of existing intralogistics solutions can create obvious added value for customers. The e-commerce and retail sectors will be addressed, as well as B2B trade and external logistics service providers.
