Trapo will be demonstrating automated crate and carton handling in live operation at Interpack in Hall 12, Stand A65. The focus will be on two synchronized articulated arm robots that work together with conveyor technology and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) to palletize and depalletize crates and cartons weighing up to 35 kilograms.

A cobot from the TCP series with a suction gripper and a high-speed robotic system from the HRS series with a fork gripper are used. The systems alternately handle longitudinal and transverse pallets. Full and empty pallets are exchanged autonomously by a mobile robot.

Trapo relies on automation solutions developed and manufactured entirely in-house. All line modules, from conveyor technology and robots to the AMR, are interconnected via Trapo Intelligent Management. The software tool serves as the digital backbone of the system, coordinates processes, supports monitoring and records process data in real time.

The company will also be presenting mobile automation solutions for confined production environments. These include the Trapo Cobot Palletizer, a flexible system for automated palletizing. Trade visitors can find out about individual automation solutions in the Trapo Experience Hubs at the trade fair stand.
