Data management as the basis for AI in the warehouse
In digitalized materials management, algorithms calculate ideal transport routes in the warehouse and transport systems navigate autonomously through factory halls. Data input into the ERP system can also be simplified using artificial intelligence (AI). Access to the right data is required as a basis for the use of AI. According to a study commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, 47% of the companies surveyed are expected to use AI technologies to at least a small extent by 2023.
