Pick-by-Vision with Picavi
Field-tested and flexible - with the Picavi GmbH picking solution, smart glasses have arrived in intralogistics. The Picavi pick-by-vision solution can be easily integrated into existing ERP and warehouse systems and optimizes intralogistics processes with significant time savings - thanks to consistent process guidance via the display of the smart glasses and hands-free operation. They can already be found in live operation, for example at Dr. Babor GmbH & Co KG in Aachen and Steel Service Krefeld GmbH since 2015. By confirming individual steps via a scanner integrated into the glasses, a significant reduction in the picking error rate is achieved compared to conventional systems such as pick-by-voice or pick-by-light. In addition, the pickers can keep an eye on the current order at all times. The Picavi Power Control was developed to further optimize working with smart glasses in the warehouse: The external, industrial-grade rechargeable battery enables continuous shift operation regardless of the picking density and at the same time offers an alternative operating option.
