Innovative drive solutions for intralogistics from Nord
Nord's trade fair highlights include the patented DuoDrive geared motor, the IE5+ synchronous motor, the decentralized Nordac ON/ON+ frequency inverter and a concept for condition-based maintenance in line with Industry 4.0.
Modern, automated intralogistics systems place high demands on drives in both horizontal and vertical conveyor technology. Nord Drivesystems offers drive solutions for this sector. The patented Duodrive geared motor integrates the IE5+ synchronous motor into the housing of a single-stage helical gearbox. This not only guarantees a compact installation space and low noise emissions, but also a high power density and high overall system efficiency.
NORD has developed the decentralized frequency inverter NORDAC ON/ON+ especially for the requirements of horizontal conveyor technology. An integrated Ethernet interface, complete pluggability and an extremely compact design make it an inverter for decentralized use in intralogistics. The frequency inverter can be mounted directly on the drive housing and covers smaller power ranges up to 1.0 kW. In combination with the IE5+ synchronous motor (NORDAC ON+), considerable efficiency potential can be leveraged
