The submission concerns a machine with a wide range of applications for the food industry for packaging in thermoformed plastic trays with sealing lids. The sealing machine has a consistently compact, modular, hygienic and robust design. It is characterized by the following user-friendly and efficiency-enhancing features:

• Linking of material, process and system parameters for intelligent, optimized control of process sequences, exploiting overlapping potential between sub-processes,
• Networking interface for retrieving packaging material and process parameters (cloud-based) and other smart services
• Efficient tool changing systems

This results in short changeover times and reduced run-in and malfunction risks
