Two new top managers for Hellmann
Volker Sauerborn will become the new Chief Operating Officer Contract Logistics (COO CL) at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics at the beginning of November. He succeeds Robert Bommers. In addition, Sven Eisfeld will take over the newly created position of Managing Director Germany as of November 1.
As COO CL, Volker Sauerborn will be responsible for the entire Contract Logistics division worldwide and, as a member of the Executive Board, will report directly to Reiner Heiken, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Sauerborn has over 30 years of professional experience in the international transport business, including various management positions at Kühne + Nagel. After focusing on the CL area globally as Vice President Sales & Business Development Contract Logistics from 2007 to 2015, he has been responsible for the entire operational business in the region as Senior Vice President of the Germany West region for the past four years.
Eisfeld fills newly created position
As Managing Director Germany, Sven Eisfeld will be responsible for the operational business for all product segments in Germany. Cooperation between the segments is to be intensified and a cross-product customer approach is to be developed. Sven Eisfeld has worked for Kuehne + Nagel in Hamburg for the past ten years.
"We are delighted to have gained two proven logistics experts with strong leadership skills for our company in Volker Sauerborn and Sven Eisfeld. In an increasingly challenging market environment, both our customers and our employees need clarity and orientation - a basic prerequisite for further growth," says Reiner Heiken, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
