Toyota Material Handling introduces Reinhard Griep as new Head of Customer Service
Toyota Material Handling Germany is starting the new financial year with a new member of management. On April 1, Reinhard Griep took over the responsibilities of his predecessor Mikael Jonsson as Head of Customer Service.
"With the appointment of Reinhard Griep, we have succeeded in gaining a very experienced and ambitious colleague for TMHDE in such an important position as Head of Customer Service," says Jan Lorenz, Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Germany.
After completing a degree in industrial engineering and a management trainee program, Reinhard Griep has held various management positions in customer service at Jungheinrich AG since 2003. He began as a service and regional customer service manager at the Hamburg sales center before taking over responsibility for selected key accounts in the North region as Head of Key Account Customer Service in 2017. Since 2019, Reinhard Griep has been responsible at Jungheinrich for the alignment of the central customer service strategy, the coordination of all customer service topics for northern German key accounts, as well as the 360° support of one of the company's own key accounts.
"I am very much looking forward to my new role at Toyota. Building on the work of my predecessor, I would like to further develop the core areas of customer experience, sales and profitability together with the more than 460 colleagues in customer service," explains Reinhard Griep. "With all the changes brought about by automation, connectivity and other technical innovations, I will continue to expand customer service as the flexible, reliable and high-quality partner for our customers and Toyota dealerships."
Mikael Jonsson also took on a new role at Toyota Material Handling Europe on April 1, 2021, in which he will help shape the future direction of TMHE. At TMHDE, Jonsson initially helped shape the company's development as Head of Finance and most recently as Head of Customer Service.
