Supply chain expert Sven Schürer joins JLL
Sven Schürer has been appointed to the newly created position of Director Business Development of Industrial & Logistics EMEA at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). Based in Frankfurt, he will be responsible for JLL's strategic business development in the EMEA rental market for warehouse and logistics space.
One of Schürer's tasks will be to further expand the Supply Chain Consulting division. In Germany, he will be working together with Werner Gliem, among others. As Senior Team Leader Business Development Industrial Agency, Gliem has been responsible for JLL's Germany-wide strategic business development in the rental market for warehouse and logistics space since the beginning of March and is also part of the Supply Chain Consulting team.
"The logistics market is booming and this is changing the demands placed on real estate by our customers. More than ever, they need to be able to take advantage of the many complexities and opportunities that are available to them," says Sven Schürer. Most recently, Schürer worked for the French supply chain specialist ID Logistics, where he was responsible for strategic business development as Director Business Development for the past four and a half years.
