New managing director for Jettainer subsidiary
Shailendar Kothari is Jettainer's new Managing Director for the Americas
Shailendar Kothari took over the management of Jettainer Americas Inc. on March 1. In his new role, Kothari is responsible for the operational activities and the expansion of the company's business in North and South America.
Kothari has extensive experience in the aviation industry. Most recently, he was Director for Global Category Management at Lufthansa Cargo since 2017, where he was responsible for the procurement of all warehouses, aircraft handling services and logistics services for the Group companies. "With Shailendar Kothari, we have gained an internationally recognized freight expert with extensive operational and strategic experience and knowledge. He is well connected in the aviation and air freight industry worldwide," says Thomas Sonntag, Managing Director of Jettainer. "I am very pleased that Mr. Kothari will represent Jettainer Americas Inc. for North and South America and successfully manage the company's business," adds Sonntag.
