Rolf Habben Jansen confirmed as Hapag-Lloyd's CEO
Hamburg, 14.05.2018 - The Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG has unanimously decided to extend the contract of its CEO Rolf Habben Jansen for a further five years until March 31, 2024. "With Rolf Habben Jansen at the helm, Hapag-Lloyd has further expanded its position as the world's leading liner shipping company in a challenging environment and as an active driver of the ongoing industry consolidation. The extension of his contract ensures continuity in the company's management. We have thus created the best conditions for the continuation of Hapag-Lloyd's successful course. I am very much looking forward to continuing our cooperation," said Michael Behrendt, CEO of Hapag-Lloyd AG.
Other members of the Executive Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG are Chief Financial Officer Nicolás Burr (CFO), Chief Operating Officer Anthony J. Firmin (COO) and Joachim Schlotfeldt (CPO), who is responsible for human resources and global purchasing. red
