Reorganization of the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE
MAN Truck & Bus SE is reorganizing its Executive Board team. Dr. Andreas Tostmann, currently Brand Board Member for Production and Logistics at Volkswagen Passenger Cars, will take over as Chairman of the Executive Board. He succeeds Joachim Drees, who will leave the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE and TRATON SE by mutual agreement on July 15, 2020. In addition, Dr. Martin Rabe, previously Head of Organization, HR Processes and IT at MAN Truck & Bus, will succeed Prof. Dr. Carsten Intra as Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director. The MAN Supervisory Board passed a resolution to this effect on Tuesday.
The Supervisory Board thanked Joachim Drees for his excellent work over the past five years. The product portfolio is very well positioned and successfully placed on the market. In particular, the new truck generation that has just been presented has been very well received by customers. With Dr. Andreas Tostmann, a proven production expert with many years of experience in the Volkswagen Group is now taking over the helm.
According to reports, Joachim Drees initiated a change process at MAN and drove it forward during his five years as CEO of MAN. The product portfolio was revised and launched on the market in a short space of time. "The successful entry into electromobility is also thanks to his commitment. Joachim Drees has thus positioned the company for the future. As CEO of MAN, he also had a significant influence on the IPO of TRATON SE," reports MAN.
