Reorganization of the Wago Executive Board
Jürgen Schäfer, CSO of the Wago Group for many years, has retired from the operational business of the supplier of electrical connection and automation technology after 24 years.
Now he is devoting himself to new tasks. Above all, he wants to pass on his experience: as a management consultant and as a lecturer at Bielefeld University. The sales expert will also remain at Wago in an advisory capacity for some projects. He will be succeeded by three internationally active Vice Presidents Sales, who will report to CEO Dr. Heiner Lang, who will assume the role of CSO.
"It's time for the next generation," says Jürgen Schäfer. "Due to the great growth in recent years, some tasks will be reassigned organizationally in the future." The Wago Group is thus consistently developing its global sales management. The company had already introduced a new management level at the end of 2022 with the three Vice Presidents Sales Rick Ayres (Americas), Thomas Le (Asia & Australia) and Mehdi Sayar (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
