New Head of Logistics Solutions at SSI Schaefer
Mauro Lunardelli has now been appointed as the new Head of the Logistics Solutions division of the SSI Schaefer Group.
The experienced manager with Swiss and Italian citizenship has been with the company for 24 years and most recently served as Managing Director of SSI Schaefer Switzerland since 2019. Mauro Lunardelli has in-depth knowledge of the intralogistics industry and enjoys a high professional reputation both within and outside the SSI Schaefer Group. He started his career at Stöcklin Logistik AG and subsequently held various positions in well-known intralogistics companies. In 1999, he moved to SSI Schaefer, where he built up the steel construction and automation divisions in Switzerland. His other positions at the company included Logistics Solutions Manager of the former HUB Southwest Europe, which he held for five years.
Mauro Lunardelli succeeds Notker Steigerwald, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. The handover of responsibility will take place today after coordination has already been completed.
