Frank Wiemer joins as a new shareholder

With Frank Wiemer, Orgaplan Logistik has gained an experienced logistics and IT expert to drive the company's growth and further development.

Thanks to his professional experience, Wiemer has extensive logistics and IT expertise. In January 2009, Frank Wiemer was appointed to the Management Board of the Rewe Group, where he was responsible for logistics, IT and the Toom DIY stores, among other things, for ten years. Prior to this, he held various management positions at Nestlé Germany, at Interspe in Unna and at the Metro Group as CEO of Metro Logistik (MGL).

At the same time, he was a member of the board of the German Logistics Association (BVL) for six years and a member of the supervisory board of GS 1, a network of not-for-profit organizations that develop, negotiate and maintain standards for cross-company processes worldwide, for around 10 years.

The managing partners of Orgaplan Logistik expressed their delight at the new partnership and said: "We are delighted to welcome Mr. Frank Wiemer to the group of shareholders. This partnership marks an important milestone for our company. It will help to consolidate our position in the consulting market and to expand and develop our consulting portfolio." Orgaplan Logistik is an international logistics consultancy based in Hamburg. The consulting and service portfolio ranges from strategic simulation to the optimization of transport logistics and supply chain optimization. Planning expertise in the areas of warehousing and production as well as work and process organization round off the portfolio.
