Change in the Supervisory Board
Port of Rotterdam: Ruud Sondag succeeds Ingrid Thijssen
Ruud Sondag will be appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority for a period of three years as of May 1 of this year. He succeeds Ingrid Thijssen.
Ingrid Thijssen has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority since September 1, 2017. Her departure is due to her appointment as Chair of the VNO-NCW business organization, which is incompatible with a position as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
Miriam Maes, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, warmly congratulates Ingrid Thijssen on her chairmanship of VNO-NCW: "It is a special honor to be appointed to this position. Thanks to her professionalism, dedication and extensive knowledge and experience, she has been a particularly valuable member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority. We would like to expressly thank Ingrid Thijssen for her special contribution and the open and pleasant cooperation. We wish her every success in her new role and hope that we can continue to work with her in the future."
Sondag was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority from April 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018. His departure at the time was linked to his appointment as CEO of Eneco to oversee the sale. This has now been completed.
