Pietro Zollino is coming
New Head of Communications for MAN Truck & Bus
Pietro Zollino replaces Stefan Klatt as Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at MAN Truck & Bus SE as of September 1.
Pietro Zollino (53) will take over as Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at MAN Truck & Bus on September 1. Most recently, Zollino was Executive Vice President Communications at the Volkswagen Group of America.
Zollino began his career as an automotive journalist and head of the Test and Service department at Motor Presse Stuttgart. In 2002, he moved to Mercedes-Benz Cars as Manager Global Communications. From 2012 onwards, the graduate physicist and trained journalist worked for Volkswagen, initially as Head of Product, Technology and Classic Communications for the VW brand and later as Head of Communications Digitalization and Innovations in the Volkswagen Group.
In 2016, Zollino moved to Herndon, Virginia, as Chief Communications Officer North American Region (USA, Canada and Mexico) for the Volkswagen brand. Since 2017, he has also been responsible for overall communications for Volkswagen in the USA as Executive Vice President Communications of the Volkswagen Group of America.
Stefan Klatt, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at MAN Truck & Bus since 2015, will take over the Corporate Responsibility (CR) department at MAN SE. "On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to thank Stefan Klatt for the work he has done and his great commitment. We wish him continued success in his new role. We also wish his successor, Pietro Zollino, all the best in his new role. As an experienced communications manager, he will further strengthen our team," says Dr. Andreas Tostmann, Chairman of the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE.
