Maximilian Brandl says of his new position as CEO: "There are currently many opportunities in logistics and production, for example through increasing networking and cross-company collaboration in the supply chain. This trend is being accelerated by new technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation and virtual and augmented reality through to robotics and driverless transport systems. Many current cross-company alliances and international standards are a further catalyst for the new and important IoT platforms and new data-based business models. During the coronavirus crisis in particular, we are experiencing the susceptibility of globally networked supply chains to disruption - another challenge that we want to address with our digitalization solutions. I am therefore very much looking forward to the challenge of working with SALT Solutions to develop solutions for our customers in a very demanding digital environment, especially in these exciting times."

In his previous position as CEO, Maximilian Brandl worked for Eplan and Cideon. His focus was on the areas of Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, cloud and digitalization, all of which are also central to his new role. Prior to this, he was a member of the Executive Board at SAP Germany and a Senior Manager at Boston Consulting Group, where he was entrusted with various management tasks with a focus on discrete industry, plant engineering, automotive and high-tech.
