He has held management positions at several well-known automotive groups, including Head of the Asia/Pacific region for Audi, Managing Director of Toyota Germany and Toyota Italy and, most recently, Managing Director of Hyundai Germany.
Matthias Wollenberg, who brings more than 25 years of international experience in the automotive industry to the company, will be responsible for the strategic management of the After Sales and Service divisions. Among other things, he has worked as a member of the management board for Hyundai Motor Europe, Mercedes Benz Belgium Luxembourg, DaimlerChrysler Northeast Asia and most recently for the Saudi Arabian Abdul Latif Jameel Import and Distribution Company in Jeddah.

Among other things, they will help us to develop our new brand for electric commercial vehicles, Tropos Motors Europe, in a targeted manner and position it on the European market," says Dr. Jörg Mosolf, CEO of the Mosolf Group.
The first Tropos Motors Europe plant started operations on March 25 in Herne, North Rhine-Westphalia. In future, up to 3,000 compact electric commercial vehicles in the L7E-CU category will be produced here every year. Tropos Motors Europe will initially produce two models in Herne - the Tropos ABLE ST with an AGM battery and a range of 80 kilometers - and the Tropos ABLE XT with a lithium-ion battery, which will be available from July and have a range of between 105 and 260 kilometers depending on the model.
