Logivest hires Dirk Heiertz

Logivest GmbH, a consultancy firm focusing on logistics properties and locations, is bringing logistics expert Dirk Heiertz on board. The 50-year-old, who comes from contract logistics provider DSV Solutions, will take over key account management - with a focus on retail, production and logistics service providers - from July 2020.

With over 30 years of logistics experience, Heiertz is an expert in the industry and has a network at his disposal. Most recently, he spent almost eight years as Senior Business Development Manager and authorized signatory at DSV Solutions, where he successfully helped build up the Krefeld site, among other things. Previous positions include DHL Freight, Haarhaus Logistics and TNT Express. Heiertz is now venturing a change of perspective and is starting in the real estate consulting business at Logivest.

"I'm a logistician through and through. I'm really looking forward to taking this passion to another level, taking on a new challenge and getting to know a completely different side of logistics. The fact that I know the needs and requirements of shippers and logistics service providers and can put myself in their shoes will naturally help me in my new role," says Dirk Heiertz.

Following the appointment of Michael Starre in April of this year, Logivest has once again scored a real coup with Dirk Heiertz. "We want to meet our customers at eye level and not only know their concerns, but also understand them in order to provide them with even more comprehensive support. I am personally delighted that we have been able to recruit an insider like Dirk Heiertz for this," says Kuno Neumeier, Managing Director of Logivest.
