Logistician cookbook brings new tables and benches to children's hospital
Siegen, 27.12.2017 - Volker Knuff works in the intralogistics industry and has many contacts there, with whom he sometimes goes out to eat. During one of these meetings, he came up with the idea of publishing a cookbook himself that has a specific connection to the industry and whose proceeds will now also benefit charitable organizations. "Sterne Logistik" is the name of the collection of unusual dishes that are nevertheless easy to cook and that were each contributed by logistics managers (LT-manager and materialfluss supported the project, which was published in 2016, both financially and in terms of content). As the whole project was created on a whim, it was quickly agreed to donate the proceeds to a good cause after the sales success. Chief physician Beate Stocks and department head Ingolf Langenbach from the KJP day clinic at the DRK children's hospital in Siegen were delighted to receive 1,500 euros, which will be used for sports and play benches. The Wellersberg was very happy about this unusual commitment to a good cause, and one or two dishes from the cookbook will also be tried out with the patients. red/af
