New member of the Executive Board starts in December
Katharina Rath new Chief Human Resources Officer at DB Schenker
The Supervisory Board of Schenker AG has appointed Katharina Rath as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Rath will take up her new position on December 1, 2020.
The HR expert comes from Continental Automotive Technologies. She has worked for the company for almost 20 years in various positions, most recently as Senior Vice President Human Relations, Automotive Technologies and Holistic Engineering & Technologies and as a member of the Automotive Board.
"Katharina Rath is an internationally experienced expert in various areas of HR work. The Supervisory Board and I are very pleased to have gained her talent, knowledge and leadership skills for the Management Board of DB Schenker," said Dr. Levin Holle, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schenker AG.

Ms. Rath succeeds Thomas Schulz, who will end his mandate at DB Schenker on October 31 after eight years as Chief Human Resources Officer and the end of his regular term of office. "On behalf of the entire Management Board, I would like to thank Thomas Schulz for his successful work at DB Schenker. Over the past eight years, he has dedicated himself to HR with great commitment. We wish him the very best for his future endeavors," said Thewes.
