Kai Hansen new Senior Commercial Manager Germany at DP World

The logistics service provider DP World Inland is strengthening its leadership team in Germany. With effect from October 1, Kai Hansen (52) has taken up his new position as Senior Commercial Manager. He is to further expand the sales activities for DP World Inland in Hamburg.

Dr. Martin Neese, Managing Director of DP World Inland, says: "The appointment of Kai Hansen fits perfectly with our business strategy and is an important step for future growth. In Kai Hansen we have gained an experienced specialist with in-depth market knowledge. Kai Hansen will be responsible for the strategic management of the commercial team, develop industry-specific marketing approaches for new services and, of course, provide effective support for our existing customers."

Kai Hansen has many years of professional experience in logistics and worked in sales for Contargo for more than 15 years before moving to Alcotrans Container Line, a neska Group company, in 2016. Most recently, Hansen was Managing Director of neska Schiffahrts- und Speditionskontor GmbH in Duisburg and neska Intermodal GmbH in Hamburg from May 2018.
