Haeger & Schmidt Logistics expands management board
Haeger & Schmidt Logistics (HSL), a logistics service provider with a focus on sustainable transport concepts for containers, steel products, heavy lift and project cargo, is strengthening its management team: Stefan Hütten will join the management team on September 1, 2024. In his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Hütten will work with Heiko Brückner (CEO) and Peter Stöttinger to drive forward the strategic development of the Haeger & Schmidt Group.
"Given the extremely dynamic market environment both nationally and internationally, we are delighted to have Stefan Hütten, an experienced logistics expert, join the company to help us continue on our growth trajectory," explains Brückner. Hütten has already contributed his expertise in the field of integrated supply chain solutions to the company in his previous position as Chief Development Officer, which he held since April 2022.
At the same time as the appointment of Stefan Hütten, the previous HSL Managing Director Per Nyström is moving to the management of Felbermayr Deutschland GmbH. Together with Peter Stöttinger and Wolfgang Schellerer, he will take on the task of setting up a shared service center for several Felbermayr Group companies in Germany. Nyström has been HSL Managing Director since 2014 and has played a key role in the further development of Haeger & Schmidt Logistics.
