Fred Straßberger new Sales Manager Truck & Van at MAN Truck & Bus
On November 1, Fred Straßberger took over as Head of Sales for the Truck and Van divisions at MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH. The 52-year-old is a commercial vehicle expert with a total of 29 years' experience in the industry.
Straßberger began his career in 1990 as a design engineer in axle development at MAN Truck & Bus, before moving to the service department in 1997. He made his debut in sales in 2003, taking over the position of Sales Manager for Munich just three years later. Most recently, as Regional Sales Manager, Fred Straßberger was responsible for the South West sales region, which includes a total of six sales offices.
In his new position, Fred Straßberger is responsible for the sale of trucks and vans for MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH. He is married and has three daughters. Straßberger succeeds Christoph Huber, who took over as CEO of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH on October 1, 2019.
