Edoardo Podestá moves to the top of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics
Edoardo Podestá is now in charge of Dachser's global air and sea freight business. He is the new Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Dachser Air & Sea Logistics business field. Podestá replaces Jochen Müller.
Edoardo Podestá, an experienced Dachser manager, is taking over the management of the global air and sea freight business. The Italian joined the Dachser organization back in 2003. Following his successful development of the air and sea freight business in Asia, he was appointed Managing Director of the Asia Pacific business unit in 2014. "Edoardo Podestá combines success as an entrepreneur and strong leadership with his profound knowledge of the Asian and global air and sea freight markets," says Bernhard Simon, CEO of Dachser. "As COO Air & Sea Logistics, he will further expand our intercontinental air and sea freight network and link it even more closely with our European land transportation network."
