Dachser Food Logistics: Behrendt new Managing Director
Stefan Behrendt took over responsibility for Dachser Food Logistics at the beginning of the year. He succeeds COO Road Logistics Alexander Tonn, who has held the position of Managing Director Food Logistics since January 1, 2024.
Behrendt has been with Dachser since 2015. As Head of the Lower Rhine Logistics Center in Neuss, he initially successfully expanded the food transport and storage business. Under the outgoing Managing Director Alfred Miller, he moved to the company headquarters in Kempten in the Allgäu region on October 1, 2023. As Deputy Managing Director Food Logistics, he has since dedicated himself to the strategic direction and further development of the business line.
"Stefan Behrendt is a strategically minded leader who can draw on a wealth of experience in operational logistics," explains Alexander Tonn, COO Road Logistics at Dachser. "He has the ideal qualifications to position the food business, which is immensely important for Dachser with its crisis-proof growth dynamics, in the long term and to consistently drive forward our development in Germany and Europe."
