Change of Managing Director at DSV Air & Sea
Frank Sobotka (48) is taking over the management of the Danish transport and logistics group's German sea and air freight division. In his new role as Regional Director Central Europe DSV Air & Sea, the business administration graduate is also responsible for the national companies in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Eastern European countries.
He succeeds Tobias Schmidt, who was previously Managing Director of the German company for ten years and most recently headed up the Central and Eastern Europe region. Sobotka will report directly to the global DSV Air & Sea CEO Carsten Trolle and will be based at the company's German headquarters in Bremen.
In nine years with the company, Sobotka has held various positions and gained extensive experience in management positions. Most recently, as Managing Director, he managed the national companies in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
