Change in the RIO management
RIO is reorganizing its management: Stefan Heymann is to become the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His predecessor Franziska Leidenroth is leaving RIO for personal reasons.
Heymann joined Volkswagen Group China in 2011 as a project controller. Two years later, he took on a team leader role there. He has been working for the Traton Group since 2016, most recently as Head of Module Management.
"Stefan Heymann will play a decisive role in the transformation of the RIO brand. We are currently tapping into new customer groups and significantly expanding our partner offering. To do this, we need a strong financial basis. We will further expand this with the appointment of Stefan Heymann," says Jan Kaumans, CEO at RIO. "With this reorganization of our management team, we are making RIO fit for the future. I am very much looking forward to his input. With a breath of fresh air in the management team, we want to further accelerate the development of our company and keep RIO on course for growth." More than 115,000 vehicles are already connected via the RIO platform.
