Change at the top of Dachser Food Logistics
Alexander Tonn will take over the management of Dachser Food Logistics from January 1, 2024 and will continue to drive the strategic development of food logistics at Dachser.
The long-standing Managing Director of Dachser Food Logistics, Alfred Miller (left), is retiring at the end of the year. Alexander Tonn (right), COO Road Logistics, will take over the management of the business unit as of January 1, 2024, and will continue to drive forward the strategic development of food logistics at Dachser, particularly in an international context. Miller has headed Dachser Food Logistics since 2010, and under his leadership the business line has significantly expanded its market position, particularly in contract logistics. Tonn will take over the management of Food Logistics on January 1, 2024. He will be supported by Stefan Behrendt, who will take over the newly created position of Deputy Managing Director Food Logistics from October 1, 2023. Behrendt previously managed Dachser's Lower Rhine logistics center in Neuss and successfully expanded its activities in the food sector.
