"With Frank Smet, a globally respected shipping expert who knows the business like no other and has achieved a great deal for Hamburg Süd is leaving the company," said Dr. Arnt Vespermann, CEO of Hamburg Süd. Smet has been involved in several takeovers and integrations and has been instrumental in driving the shipping company's rapid growth.
