Achim Martinka new Vice President Germany at Lufthansa Cargo

Achim Martinka, previously head of the One Cargo project, is the new head of the Germany region at Lufthansa Cargo.

He succeeds J. Florian Pfaff, who took up his new position as Head of Asia at the cargo airline at the beginning of June. Martinka began his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 2000 as Senior Manager Global Accounts. After holding various positions in Europe, he moved to Atlanta in 2010 as Head of Area Management Americas before being appointed Head of Area Management Europe & Africa in Frankfurt in 2016. Achim Martinka has been responsible for the One Cargo project since 2017. The project is designed to strengthen the cooperation between SwissWorldCargo and Lufthansa Cargo. The new appointment to the position was made as part of Lufthansa's usual rotation policy.
