In concrete terms, Fachpack's two-track trade fair concept means: Track 1 focuses on Fachpack 2021 as a physical trade fair with a well thought-out hygiene concept and offers a new digital supplement "on top" so that visitors affected by travel restrictions can also participate in Fachpack 2021. If necessary due to the pandemic situation, we will switch to track 2 and offer the packaging industry a purely digital event with new, exciting features. "This way, we are prepared for all eventualities and can guarantee the packaging industry its coveted meeting place at the end of September," Slotta continues.

Trade fair preparations underway

Preparations for the trade fair are in full swing. The Fachpack team is currently preparing the physical trade fair "as normal", planning the exhibition halls with the currently 860 registered companies, working out an attractive supporting program and creating a comprehensive hygiene concept for the safe participation of exhibitors and visitors.

New digital features on the myFachpack platform

At the same time, a digital platform called myFachpack will be set up to offer new and additional added value for Fachpack customers. For example, targeted as well as spontaneous online matchmaking and networking between exhibitors and visitors even before the trade fair begins. Personalized contact suggestions are made on the basis of exhibitor or product searches as well as personal interests. In addition, the trade fair's extensive lecture program will be streamed live on myFachpack. The three forums PACKBOX, TECHBOX and INNOVATIONBOX offer key notes, presentations and discussion panels over all three days of the trade fair, which will also be available afterwards. The product and company presentations at the trade fair stands on site will be supplemented digitally on myFachpack. New functions, e.g. videos, chats, virtual meeting rooms, lectures or presentations, enrich the exhibitor profiles. In this way, the advantages of the physical trade fair are optimally enhanced by modern digital possibilities.
