K. Hartwall becomes majority shareholder in A&A
K. Hartwall Oy Ab, a Finnish provider of reusable transport logistics solutions, announced its acquisition of A&A Logistik-Equipment at the beginning of July. A&A is a German provider of logistics solutions for various industries. K. Hartwall's product portfolio is aimed in particular at retail and wholesale companies, postal logistics and the automotive industry. Industry leaders such as Schaeffler, Royal Mail, Havi Logistics and Bosch are among the customers of the company, which employs 160 people worldwide.
"By combining our strengths, we will become a global market leader in logistics transportation equipment. K.Hartwall's experience in lean logistics and international trade will be combined with A&A's expertise," said Jerker Hartwall, CEO of K.Hartwall.

A&A, based in Heidenau near Hamburg, was founded in 1992 and offers standard logistics solutions as well as customized transport solutions in the tugger train and AGV sector. mm
