Ferag: Sorts all bags and parcels
Ferag is presenting the second generation of the Denisort Compact vertical sorter at Logimat. In the new version, the trays can be loaded with sorted goods weighing up to twelve kilograms.
Available in two sizes (450 x 380 millimetres and 650 x 450 millimetres), the trays have been optimized for handling polybags, bags and parcels of all kinds. This means that the trays can accommodate sorted goods with different geometries. The Swiss company has also updated the system's software and control technology. The system, which was originally designed for manual loading, can now be combined with automatic feed stations and feed belts. The newly implemented software platform offers additional flexibility. For example, an article can now be automatically assigned to a specific chute (so-called "blind sorting"). The space-saving sorting machine ideally achieves a sorting capacity of 8,640 units. It is suitable for users from the e-commerce sector and for CEP services that need to bridge throughput increases at peak times or are looking for a flexible and easily scalable addition for the ramp-up of their basic system.
