Dematic automates for SMEs

The intralogistics specialist has already implemented the system at C.E. Pattberg in Hattingen, a European manufacturer of gift and decorative ribbons. Dematic invited the participants of the customer day to get an idea of how the system works on site. In a subsequent workshop, the program included best practice examples as well as the topics of software and service. "The AutoStore system from Dematic particularly impressed all participants with its compact design and extensive functions. It is the ideal solution for companies like ours, whose product range consists of many small parts," says Daniel Pattberg, Managing Director of C.E. Pattberg, who spoke about his experiences with the system. The gift and decorative ribbon manufacturer was able to reduce its storage space from 6,000 square meters to just around 170 square meters with the AutoStore system.
