Dematic digitizes logistics in the apparel industry
Jan Vercammen, CEO Dematic Central Europe, will join other representatives from logistics and the fashion industry at the Fashion Supply Chain Summit to discuss the possibilities of supply chain digitization in the fashion industry. Customer expectations, fluctuations in demand, staff shortages and cost pressure will be the main topics of discussion.
"Sustainable omni-channel concepts are becoming increasingly important in the fashion sector. Brick-and-mortar stores and online stores need to be increasingly networked," explains Vercammen.
At the intralogistics automation specialist's stand, interested visitors can also find out about industry-specific automation solutions for the clothing trade. The Fashion Supply Chain Summit will take place on September 7 at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt. The panel discussion on the topic will begin at 3 pm.
