LogiMAT: SSI Schäfer, BITO, Still, Knapp, Mitsubishi and Jungheinrich also cancel trade fair appearances
On March 3, the intralogistics company Interroll announced that it was canceling its trade fair appearance at LogiMAT 2020 "due to unforeseeable developments in connection with the coronavirus". More than 90 companies followed suit, all names can be found here.
Instead of a physical trade fair on site, the company is now planning a virtual trade fair on the website www.interroll.com during the same period. The website will offer trade fair innovations, a live demo and chats with experts from sales and the product area.

As of March 1, the trade fair organizer Euroexpo announced that a total of "72 exhibitors had to cancel their participation in the trade fair". Of these, seven exhibitors would come from Italy and 41 from China. The nationality of the 24 remaining companies is still unknown.
However, the threat situation in the region appears unclear or inconsistent: for example, the Brawo brass band trade fair, which was planned for March 7 and 8 at the Stuttgart exhibition grounds, has been canceled. The same applies to the International Craft Fair in Munich and the Leipzig Book Fair, for example - while other trade fairs are still scheduled to take place.
