Shelf repair during operation
Klein GmbH offers the Robusto repair kit for the safe and effective repair of damaged shelf supports and struts. It is suitable for stabilizing shelving from almost all manufacturers and leads to cost savings of up to 80 percent for warehouse operators, as the supplier promises.
Until now, it was common practice to empty damaged shelves and replace the defective components with new ones. This is almost impossible and time-consuming during operation. The repair kit developed by Klein GmbH and tested by the Dr. Möll testing institute avoids the need for a complete replacement. The damaged shelf supports are straightened and then reinforced with a galvanized U-profile at least four millimetres thick. The repair is carried out without interrupting operations, so there are no restrictions on productivity. In addition to being used as a repair kit, Robusto can also be used as a preventative measure on shelves. This considerably increases resistance. The specialist company also has qualified shelf inspectors.
