In addition, Philip Morris Manufacturing GmbH (PMMG) has entrusted Loxxess with the takeover of further areas. The companies have been working together for around 30 years. The extension was agreed for a further three years and will be expanded to include services in the area of interim storage and production-supplying logistics with raw tobacco for the Philip Morris plant in Berlin.

Continuous expansion

The collaboration, which began in the 1980s, has grown over time. Since 2016, Loxxess has also been responsible for the storage of slow-moving items and spare parts at the PMMG plant. These include machine parts for the production facilities. Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger, CEO of Loxxess AG, commented on the continuation of the cooperation as follows: "Over the course of decades of cooperation, Loxxess has increasingly taken over areas of responsibility at the Berlin site. By extending the contract, we are broadening this cooperation and can provide Philip Morris with comprehensive support."
