Garbe Industrial Real Estate develops multi-user property near Munich

Hamburg-based project developer Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH is developing a multi-user property with a hall area of 8,400 square meters on a 16,700 square meter site in Moosburg an der Isar for Union Investment.

Completion is scheduled for November of this year. Union Investment acquired the project as part of the Logistrial portfolio deal for its open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Europa.
The new building in the Degernpoint industrial estate is suitable for production and trade as well as logistics services. The larger part of the building, with 5,300 square meters of hall space and 720 square meters of office and social space, has already been let to C+R Hydraulics GmbH. The company specializes in the manufacture and storage of hydraulic components, which are to be delivered all over the world from the Moosburg site from the end of the year. C+R Hydraulics GmbH has branches in Stuttgart, Wuppertal and Terneuzen (NL).

"We are delighted to have found a suitable location and a property tailored to our needs," explains Hans Raab, Managing Director of C+R Hydraulics GmbH. "It is important for Garbe to also give regional companies the opportunity to expand or relocate," explains Jan Dietrich Hempel, Managing Director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH.

The other approx. 3,100 square meters of hall space under construction are currently being marketed. It is possible to subdivide the space into two smaller units of 1,500 square meters each. "This flexibility makes the property interesting for various possible uses," emphasizes Hempel. The project developer is in talks with both regional and national companies. The real estate service provider BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as broker and advisor for the letting to C+R Hydraulics GmbH.
