Single ladders have a decisive advantage: as the name suggests, they are easy to put on: no unfolding, no assembly, just simply put on and climb on. They therefore offer maximum flexibility for short-term storage and logistics tasks. The important thing, however, is safety. The Hymer 8512 stepladder can do both. It is TRBS-compliant and guarantees occupational safety, as employees have a secure footing on the 80 mm deep ladder steps. The steps are made of profiled extruded profile. This prevents slipping, even if the soles of work shoes are wet or oily. The 370 mm internal ladder width also provides sufficient space for ascent and descent. The stiles of the stepladder are made of extruded aluminum profiles and the stiles and steps are flanged together.

The aluminum used not only impresses with its strength, but also with its low weight. Aluminum ladders are handy, easy to transport and corrosion-resistant. As a 2.72 m high model, the Hymer 8512 stepladder has ten steps. The ladder feet are fitted with anti-slip, firmly screwed foot plugs so that they cannot slip on the floor. From a size of twelve steps, it is equipped with a curved crosspiece. The traverse prevents the ladder from tipping sideways and provides a ground clearance of 125 mm. This means that the ladder can also stand on uneven or built-up floors.

Hymer platform ladder 8081 for permanent work

For prolonged work at height, platform ladders and platform ladders ensure greater safety and ergonomics. They combine the stability of platforms with the flexibility of ladders. The Hymer 8081 platform ladder, for example, is suitable for applications that require a close approach to shelving and where the use of platform ladders with a wide chassis is not practical. At the same time, it guarantees a secure footing. The conical design prevents tipping and the ladder is equipped with 80 mm deep steps and a platform. Buckets and small tools can be stored on a sturdy hook. The platform ladder also has two rigid struts to prevent the ladder from folding up unintentionally. Castors are used for flexible movement.

Safe special constructions

In addition to standard products, the access technology specialists from Wangen also offer special designs from the Hymer modular system that can be tailored to individual requirements. These include permanent accesses or custom-fit mobile platform steps. The Hymer online configurator makes it possible to configure the modular products as a 3D model.
