Bosch: Bosch's video-based fire detection system wins award
The Aviotec video-based fire detection system from Bosch has been named the best product in the "System-related fire protection" category by FeuerTRUTZ Network. Aviotec from Bosch Security Systems offers reliable early fire detection in indoor areas of critical public and industrial applications. It is suitable as a supplement for applications in which conventional systems reach their limits. By combining the Bosch IP Starlight 8000 camera with an intelligent algorithm that detects flames and smoke based on their physical behavior, Aviotec can distinguish between real fire and disturbance variables such as reflections or backlighting.
