Tosja Zywietz has held positions of responsibility at the Bavarian technology company Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG since 2009, most recently as Chairman of the Management Board. Tosja Zywietz was born in Hanover in 1971 and obtained his doctorate in theoretical physics at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society after studying at the University of Göttingen and in the USA. "The SICK Group has doubled its sales since 2011 and expanded globally, while the complexity of production and delivery processes has also increased. The Operations division continues to gain in importance in order to optimize the already very high quality standards at SICK with efficient processes and to be active close to the customer worldwide," explains Klaus M. Bukenberger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SICK AG, the formation of the new division. "We are delighted to welcome Dr. Tosja Zywietz to the Executive Board, who brings with him in-depth technical expertise and an understanding of the values of a family business with long-term operations. The strengthening of the Executive Board in terms of personnel and expertise will secure the positive development of the SICK Group in the long term."
