Good idea

Martin Schrüfer,

Searching for employees with Mega Liner

Are you a Peiffer type? This question is written in huge white letters on the rear of five new Mega Liners, which Axel Peiffer, owner of the haulage company of the same name, has just picked up in Werlte. Eight employees of Spedition Peiffer smile at you on the sliding curtains of the trailers. The message is emblazoned above them: We are guys. Become a road star. Peiffer-Typen.de.

With this offensive campaign as a rolling message, Axel Peiffer is on the lookout for new drivers for his haulage company. "Everyone is talking about the shortage of skilled workers, especially in the transport industry. That's why we deliberately chose this rolling campaign and hope that we can get some people interested in the driving profession and, of course, in our haulage company."

At Peiffer, a sense of responsibility for employees is traditionally practiced, continues Axel Peiffer. "For example, we always use the latest technology for new acquisitions, i.e. we look very closely at the benefits the technology brings to our customers and our employees. For this reason, we have now also opted for Mega Liners, which are equipped with Krone Telematics and are protected with the Fair Care full-service package, including the tires. This puts us on the safe side and gives us a transparent overview of our costs. And last but not least, our drivers also benefit from modern trailers that offer great operating comfort thanks to first-class equipment."

On behalf of the Krone team, Markus Gemmel, Krone Regional Sales Manager, thanked Axel Peiffer for the many years of trusting cooperation. "We at Krone think the lettering on the Peiffer Mega Liner is really great. After all, the driver shortage is already posing huge challenges for the entire transport industry. That's why Krone, together with the Federal Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL), launched an initiative last year to strengthen the image of professional drivers. After all, hardly any consumers today think about how, for example, fresh food or other everyday items get to the supermarkets. This is simply impossible without the truck and driver. We hope that the message of the rolling Mega Liners will get through and that Team Peiffer will be able to find new colleagues."
