Alfons Veer goes into retirement

Dr. David Frink moves to the top of Krone Holding

Alfons Veer (65) will step down from his position as Chairman of the Management Board of Bernard Krone Holding SE & Co. KG after 16 years at the end of the year for age-related reasons and move to the Supervisory Board of the Krone Group on January 1, 2020. Alfons Veer will be succeeded as CEO by Dr. David Frink (46), who has been Chief Financial Officer of the Krone Group since the beginning of 2018. From October 1, Dr. Frink will also be responsible for the holding company's agricultural machinery division, among other things.

New to the Krone management team is Dr. Stefan Binnewies (48), who will join the Krone Holding Executive Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on October 1. He is responsible for the commercial vehicle division in the holding company as well as the Group divisions of strategic purchasing, investments, human resources and legal affairs, among others. Dr. Binnewies previously worked for Jungheinrich AG for nine years, most recently as Managing Director of Jungheinrich Logistics Systems.

Ole Klose (53) is also new to Krone Holding. As a member of the Executive Board (with power of attorney), he will be responsible for the Group divisions Treasury, Taxes, Sales Financing, Insurance and Investments from October 1. Ole Klose previously worked for the Bankhaus Lampe Group for 16 years, most recently as Managing Director of Lampe Investment Management.
