Willem van Sambeek new head of DAF Trucks Germany
Willem van Sambeek has been appointed Managing Director of DAF Trucks Deutschland GmbH with immediate effect.
Willem van Sambeek has held positions of increasing responsibility within the PACCAR Group for 14 years. Before van Sambeek took up the position of Sales Director of DAF rental company PacLease at the beginning of 2014, the 48-year-old was Director of Operations at PACCAR Parts Europe. In November 2014, van Sambeek took over the management of PacLease in Germany. Since July 2017, he has held the dual position of Managing Director of PACCAR Financial Services Germany and is therefore responsible for PACCAR Financial Germany and PacLease in Germany.
Willem van Sambeek holds a Master's degree in Economics from Maastricht University. He succeeds Heino Schroeder, who is seeking new challenges outside the company. In his new position as Managing Director DAF Trucks Germany, Willem van Sambeek will report to Richard Zink, member of the DAF Management Board and responsible for Marketing & Sales.
