Getac announces new 10-inch tablet

Getac announces the launch of its ZX10, a new fully rugged, versatile 10-inch tablet based on Android 11 operating system (OS).

The ZX10 is being launched alongside Getac's ZX70, a 7-inch Android tablet, and offers customers additional options in areas such as transportation and logistics.

Two hot-swappable batteries guarantee continuous use throughout entire shifts, and the "LumiBond" display (sunlight readable, with 800nits brightness), which can be operated in the rain as if wearing gloves, ensures full performance even in a wide range of lighting conditions. The ZX10 also offers options with up to 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB storage space.

An 8MP front camera and the 16 MP rear camera enable photo/video recording, while two integrated microphones filter out loud ambient noise. Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth (V5.0), its own GPS and an optional 4G LTE module ensure data transmission and location tracking. Dual LTE SIM card slots ensure fast switching between two 4G network operators, while support from the private CBRS network offers additional flexibility.

MIL-STD-810H and IP66 certifications allow it to withstand drops from a height of up to two meters and strong impacts as well as vibrations, rain, spilled liquids or dust. A temperature tolerance of -29°C to 63°C (-20°F~145°F) also allows year-round use. With a thickness of only 17.9 mm and a weight of just over one kilogram, it is portable.

"The new ZX10 is our response to this trend and expands our range of Android-based devices. It helps businesses optimize their efficiency and achieve vital total cost of ownership targets." The ZX10 has been available since March 2022.
