Fronius repositions battery charging technology division
Fronius is presenting the new direction of its battery charging technology division for the first time at CeMAT. The Austrian company has evolved from a charger manufacturer to a global technology leader and competent partner for all aspects of traction and starter battery charging.

Fronius is adding several new models to the successful Selectiva family in the 2 kW and 3 kW power classes. The chargers are designed for 24 V and 48 V traction batteries and are equipped with the Ri charging process. This minimizes energy losses and harmful heating when charging the battery. The user benefits from significantly lower power consumption and a longer battery life. With the "Cool Battery Guide Easy", Fronius is presenting a system that ensures optimum utilization of the battery pool. Also on show are the fuel cells and Li-ion solutions developed in-house.
