Dematic: AGVs in our sights

Dematic GmbH presents its first model of a robot that replaces manual picking in many areas. Mounted on an intelligently navigating industrial truck called FlexTruck, the Automated Robotic Manipulator (ARM) is particularly useful in environments where human workers are exposed to adverse conditions. With this pilot project, Dematic now also wants to provide impetus in the automated guided vehicle (AGV) market. "We have a very clear goal, namely to become an innovation leader in intelligent industrial trucks," says Barbara Wladarz, General Manager Central Europe at Dematic. The industrial truck turns with a zero turning radius and transports loads weighing up to 2,300 kg.
